DAY 01 – Airport / Kalpitiya

Greeted by our representative at Colombo Airport and depart to Kalpitiya.

Overnight stay at Kalpitiya.

DAY 02 – Kalpitiya

Snorkeling & Diving

Destined 30 minutes offshore Bar Reef is the largest living coral reef in Ceylon and perfect spot for snorkeling where you could witness vibrant species living among the reef.

Whale & Dolphin Watching

Season commences from November to March where pods of spinner dolphins could be seen so often along with Sperm Whales & Blue Whales.

Overnight stay at Kalpitiya.

DAY 03 – Kalpitiya / Wilpattu / Anuradapura

After breakfast depart to Anuradapura en route Half Day Game Safari at Wilpattu National Park.

Wilpattu National Park

The 1085 square kilometer Sri Lankas largest National Park was facing security enforced closures during the late three decades but now in full flow and gaining its reputation. It is assumed that there are around 50 elephants, 50 leopards along with spotted deer, sloth bear, wild hog, crocodiles and different kind of birds living in this national park and swiftly catching up in numbers.

Anuradapura Historical Site

Once was the ruling capital of Sri Lanka for 1000 years it is still functioning as some places are still in use for religious purposes where thousands of locals crowded in each day. The rambling Buddhist Site comprise with ginormous dagobas, lofty pillars, antediluvian rock pools, dilapidated temples and museums which depicts the pride of ancient kingdom. The site is opened to visitors around 7.00 – 18.00 hrs usually and it would consume around 2.30 hrs to complete the whole site.

DAY 04 – Anuradapura / Trincomalee

After breakfast depart to Trincomalee.

Kandasamy Kovil

This venerated temple is at the acme of a rock which rises up above the surrounding plain and consecrated to god Shiva. This is one of the islands Pancha Ishwaram and was built to guard the country against any Natural peril. The prayer ceremonies could be attended during 06.30, 11.30 & 16.30 Hrs where you could witness devotees from across the country flock into this place.

Fort Frederick

Located in the narrow ingress to the peninsula this was build by Portuguese in 16th century. Subsequently Dutch and British got control over and impose modifications to the structure of the fort. The fort compound is scattered with various type of canons and artillery where visitors could witness the Royal Insignias right at the top of the tunnel entrance.

DAY 05 – Trincomalee / Nilaveli

Stay leisurely in Trinco Beach any of the following activities as per guest interest.

Kanniya Hot Water Wells

The story of these springs days back to king Rawanas epoch where it notes that king Rawana stuck the earth with his sward and thus the outpour started. Ruins of an old dagoba is dispersed in the area which testifies the existence of a Buddhist Temple Complex during the ancient time.

Pigeons Island National Park
Gird in the Indian Ocean 1km seaward from Nilaveli is the amazing Island of Pigeons which its name was derived due to nesting of eggs of Rock Pigeons. The island declare itself with stunning water pools formed by natural rock and you could roam across the island via the tracks which laid through copse. During snorkeling guests could witness the shoal reef, corals which belongs to different varieties, multiple species of reef fish and turtles.

DAY 06 – Trincomalee / Arugambay

After breakfast depart to Arugam Bay.

Pasikuda Beach

En route to Arugam Bay you can visit this tantalizing beach where powdery white sand is visible through crystalline water. This is recognized to be among the safest beaches as the shallow water extends up to hundreds of meters seaward and around the year it is crowded by both local and foreign travelers.

DAY 07 – Arugambay

Surfing

This exotic beach is a paradise to the surfers during the period from April to October. Coastline is guarded by a natural formed rock which extends upto hundreds of meters in parallel to the shore and gradually belittle and disappear.

DAY 08  – Arugambay / Ahungalla

After breakfast depart to Ahungalla.

After a long ride overnight stay at the hotel in Ahungalla.

DAY 09 – Ahungalla

Breakfast at the Hotel & pay a visit to nearby attractions.

Ambalangoda Mask Museum

Masks are of Sri Lankan tradition running deep into centuries they are hand carved with intricate ex cogitation and painted in vivacious manner which resemble the culture which was passed down to generations. The museum explicate the travelers the tedious process which is behind the scenes to produce such masks and their significance.

Island Hopping Madu River

Madu River is a lagoon which comprise with hundreds of islets which is located in southwest coast Balapitiya. During this compact tour you could witness an Old Buddhist Monastery, how local inhabitants carry out their occupations by Cinnamon cultivation and prawn fishing. The tour would consume approximately 2 hours.

Moonstone Mines

Meetiyagoda a village near Ambalangoda town you could pay a visit to these mines where you could observe the mining process of this precious stone by going down into the deep into the narrow shafts. The moonstones are only concentrated into an area of one acre of land in Meetiyagoda.

DAY 10 – Ahungalla / Negombo

Breakfast at the Hotel & depart to Negombo.

Turtle Hatchery

The Sea Turtle Conservation Project was initiated in 1988 and here the hatchery pays fishermen for turtle eggs and buries them in the sand and upon completion of 50 days Baby Turtles would hatched and released to sea at night. However only one out of thousand would survive to maturity.

Negombo a small town by the west coast within close proximity to the Airport is a Fishing Village. Local made Catamarans could be witnessed sailing in the far distance which would be a unforgettable rare view.
Dutch Fort and the Canal are significant as they are the key aspects to testify the presence of the Dutch during late 16th Century.

DAY 11 – Negombo / Airport

Depart to Colombo Airport with delightful memories.
