Colombo’s international airport (Bandaranaike International Airport, code CMB) sits near Negombo, north of the capital. Many of our tours begin by heading straight out from the airport. For example:
- On the Ceylon Escapade, the first day is pick-up at Colombo Airport and a drive to Dambulla, stopping at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way (74 km from the airport).

Can I book just an airport transfer without a tour?
Our airport pick-up comes with a private tour. Tell us your dates and plans on WhatsApp and we will shape a trip around them.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can once your dates are set, especially in peak season (December to March and July to August).
